About Me
I am a videographer specializing in commercial production. I am proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. As a Commercial Producer at DC News Now, I write, shoot, and edit commercials for our clients.
I started my career in 2020, when DC News Now was known as WDVM. At the time, our newscasts were filmed in Hagerstown, Maryland. Within a year I was promoted from a part-time production assistant to a full-time Computer Graphics operator, then to a Commercial Producer in the marketing department. In 2021, we merged with our sister station, WDCW, and moved our broadcasting location to Washington DC.
I was lucky to be part of the marketing team that launched DC News Now. In addition to my work in commercial production, I attended our sponsored events, assisted with promotional shoots, field produced live shots for News, edited a paid program called Prep4Retirement, and filled in as a photog for our lifestyle show, Living Local DMV.
I live in Frederick, Maryland with my fiancé and a little cat named Chicken McNugget. I love film photography, reading, and crocheting sweaters.
As a kid, I would borrow my mom’s digital camera and make “movies” with my friends. We created our own Indiana Jones trilogy, “India Jones.” I directed and starred as the titular character, “India,” a female version of Indiana Jones. This masterpiece was edited on Windows Movie Maker. When the trilogy concluded, a FREE special edition CD-ROM was distributed to all my friends and family members.
